# Rivermere leisure visitor study Rivermere is a fictional region in the fictional country Alderland. Its visitor office wants to understand recent domestic leisure trips: what visitors did, which experiences worked, where problems occurred and whether visitors intend to return. All names, questions and scenario answers in this packet are newly invented. No real client instrument or respondent data is included. The eligible respondent is an adult aged 18 or older, currently resident in Alderland, who has completed a visit to Rivermere in the last 90 days (about three months) with leisure as the main purpose. Day visits and overnight visits qualify. Someone with several qualifying visits answers about their most recently completed one. Consent is required; this demonstration does not collect contact details. The intended length is 10–15 minutes, **unmeasured**. Cognitive interviews and a timed pilot are required before setting a respondent-facing time promise. The 33 numbered questions include conditional questions, so paths vary, with a maximum of 33 questions. Separate rating items avoid a large matrix on a small screen. Recruitment could use visitor-office and local accommodation invitations, with clear recruitment-source tags supplied separately by the host. This would be a convenience sample: results describe participating visitors, not all regional visitors. Neither visitor totals nor regional economic impact can be estimated from these responses alone. Coverage, nonresponse, mode and season should be reported alongside any comparisons. Spending is an estimate for the respondent's **whole travel party**, within Rivermere, for this single visit. It includes local accommodation, food, shopping, activities and travel within the region. It excludes travel to/from Rivermere and purchases outside the region. One party's reported spending must not be multiplied by party size. Unknown/refused spending stays absent, distinct from a reported zero. The fictional currency is Alderland credits. Use all eligible completed visitors as the denominator for overall visit measures. Accommodation measures apply only to overnight visitors; food and drink ratings apply only to visitors who selected that activity; spending and value-for-money measures apply only to respondents who can estimate spending. Report missing answers and code 99 separately from substantive scale responses. For multi-select items, use the applicable respondent denominator; percentages can sum to more than 100%. Recommendation scores describe stated intentions; they do not establish referrals, future growth or a causal effect of the visit. The packet is script-only. `questionnaire.md` is the numbered specification and behavior contract; `study.qube` and `study.odin` are independent implementations; `scenarios.json` supplies neutral numeric codes, integer answers and text for the shared focused runtime harness. Hosts own recruitment permissions, consent records, retention and access controls. This packet declares no quotas, provider calls, payments or claims of anonymity. Qube outcomes are `complete` and `screenout`. ODIN uses `*END` (native code 18) and `*ENDNGB` (native code 19), respectively. The host must map these explicitly; ODIN's completed engine lifecycle alone does not imply a successful interview. Parse/runtime qualification is reported by the coordinating focused harness. Parser acceptance alone does not establish measurement quality, browser usability, vendor-DLL compatibility or a production deployment.
